When and why did you start creating content?
I started creating content because I noticed how supportive and passionate the online golf community is. I wanted to be part of that energy by making content I genuinely enjoy, learning from others along the way, and hopefully motivating someone else who’s grinding toward a lower handicap. It’s been a lot of fun watching a community grow around the content.
What’s the story behind the name Divot Demon?
Honestly, Divot Demon came from me wanting a name that was easy to say, memorable, and clearly not taking itself too seriously. It also hints at my tendency to sometimes take aggressively large divots on the course!
How would you describe your content for someone who has never seen it?
I make fun and relatable golf content that shows the full experience of the game: the good shots, the bad shots, and the funny moments that remind us not to take the game too seriously. I post hot takes, quick discussion style videos, hole vlogs, and anything else golf related I can think of! Whether I’m celebrating a great swing or laughing off a disaster hole, the goal is to entertain golfers who love the game as much as I do.
What’s been the coolest experience/opportunity that has come from posting content?
The coolest thing has been getting noticed by other creators in the golf space, like this feature with ATL Golfs! I started posting just for fun initially, so having brands and fellow golf accounts reach out to collaborate has been really cool. It’s a great feeling knowing the content is connecting with people and that I might actually be doing something right.
What’s your golf origin story?
I got hooked on golf as a kid when my dad and grandpa would take me to the driving range to hit balls. I played junior tournaments, high school golf, and two years in JUCO before realizing professional golf wasn’t in the cards for me. But the love never left, golf has always been a part of my life and now I get to share that passion through my content.
What are the short term and long term goals of your account?
Short term, I’m focused on making better videos every week. More fun ideas, more great shots (hopefully), and more ways to connect with golfers who love the game like I do. Long term, I want to build something that lasts. A strong community, meaningful brand partnerships, and bigger opportunities to create content in the golf world.

The biggest way people can support me right now is by following and interacting with my content on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. It makes a massive difference.
