Five Iron Golf (5i) essentially provides the amenities and feel of TopGolf, but without all of the annoying parts. If you're looking for a place that has EVERYTHING, this is your spot.

The biggest complaint most folks have with 5i is getting to the location the first time. You have to park in a parking garage, take an elevator down, walk back outside, and then you find the front doors.

When you first walk in it kind of has a modern arcade feel. There are big and bright graphics, a billiards table, and air hockey. In my opinion, it feels like they tried too hard to manufacture being "cool". If you're looking for that feeling of walking into your local club, it's not quite that. That's not a good thing or a bad thing. It's just different compared to how other sims have approached their space.

And to be fair, there are a lot of really cool aspects to 5i. The menu was VERY impressive. Full bar featuring a bunch of cocktail option, spirit flights, mocktails, shots, wine, and draft beer. The food menu was equally impressive: hefty starters, salads, pizzas, handhelds, street tacos, and some miscellaneous items. I got the gochugang glaze wings and they were AWESOME. I believe they smoke their wings and then fry them. So good. I can't speak to anything else, but I love the variety of options: from edamame potstickers to hot honey whipped ricotta to Falafel Bites to spicy tuna tacos to Korean short rib Barbacoa tacos.

Hospitality was very good. We were visited by the waiter a few times to see if we needed anything. The swing coach also stopped by as well to introduce himself. I also noticed a corporate event happening, and it looked to be really well done with a nice array of food options and games being played.

They have 13 large bays with nice leather couches at each bay and sometimes additional seating options. There aren't any private rooms to my knowledge unlike some of indoor sim spots I've seen. The space is huge and they use it well. Really feels like you have a ton of room in each bay and a decent amount of privacy with sturdy walls separating each bay. As previously mentioned they use Trackman which is my personal favorite sim option. Turf quality was great. Was never a thought or concern around the turf effecting the ball/swing.

Weekday peak: $65

Weekend non-peak: $65

Weekend peak: $80

As usual, these are per hour prices, not per player, so the more players, the better the value. That said, these are some of the most expensive bay rental rates around, but it also has the best amenities of the golf sims I've visited thus far. So the premium price feels warranted in my opinion. There's only so much you can provide in a golf simulator space and 5i has essentially maxed that out.

I'd recommend Five Iron Golf.
