Most Intimidating First Tee

No range to warm up, OB right and left, tiny fairway... Good luck hitting the fairway on #1 at Alfred Tup Holmes!

Most Inviting First Tee

Downhill, short par 4, with a wide open fairway. Love the opener at The Chimneys.

Best Finisher (Hole 18)

Hole 18 at Fairways of Canton is undefeated. Time it out to catch the sunset and you'll remember it forever.

Worst Finisher (Hole 18)

Ending on a par 3 is already odd... ending on a 200+ yard, flat par 3 with bunkers on both sides... West Pines, that's just evil.

Most Annoying Hazard

This damn boulder at St. Marlo Hole 9.

Best Par 3

There's so many to choose from... But I'm going to go with a lesser known par 3... Hole 3 at Chestatee. Elevated, water short, couple bunkers to contend with. Just an awesome Par 3. From the tips its 150, but plays closer to 120. So much fun.

Worst Par 3

Hole 14 at Browns Mill is just annoying. 200+ uphill, bunker short on the left. Ugh. GTFO

Best Clubhouse Food

I could live off of the Pimento Cheese Fritters from Boones at Bobby Jones. One of the best post-round, elevated meal options.

Hole Most Likely to Get Your First Birdie On

The 400 yard Par 5, 6th at Fox Creek has been many newbies first birdie and even the occasional Eagle. Should it be a par 4? Probably. But I don't make the scorecard. If you're searching for your first birdie, head to Fox Creek!

Comeback Course of the Year

Heritage Golf Links went through an ownership change and immediately went to work. Full renovation of 2/3 9s and then shut down the 3rd 9 so they can solely focus on the best 18 holes on the property. There's still work to be done, but there's a lot to be excited about at Heritage.

Course You're Most Likely to Play Barefoot

Cross Creek is a vibe.

Course Most Likely to Eat a Dozen Balls

Water... water everywhere at Lanier Legacy. The Pro Shop must make a killing off of ball sales.

The $32 late afternoon, weekday tee time at The Frog is an unreal value. That's where dynamic pricing can actually work in your favor.

Worst Bang for Your Buck

I obviously like Bear's Best (considering they were in my Top 5), but $135+ and not even getting range balls included or a few measly tees in the cart is crazy work.
