Charlie Yates GC is a 9-hole course on the east side of Atlanta, and features 6 par 3s ranging from 100 yards to over 200, and 3 short Par 4s. It's owned by East Lake Golf Club and managed by Bobby Jones Links. With a grass range and practice area, it tends to be a local go-to because of the convenience, but is it worth the top end $50 price tag?

Whatever assumptions you might make about a course called Country Land are probably close to reality. Super laid back, thick accents, rough around the edges, and not a lot of amenities. However, for the price, it's got some great mountain views and a couple memorable holes (mixed-in with a few design disasters).

Cherokee Run is local favorite due to its adventurous layout, condition, and price point. You won't find many flat lies as you traverse up and down it's terrain, which makes for beautiful views and a challenging round of golf.

Last year Chestatee GC shut down for ~6 months to replace their greens and few other upgrades. Nearly unheard of for a public course to do, but it paid off. Course conditions were fantastic, layout is super fun, and the amenities are top notch.
